Welcome to 3rd grade!!!
I hope you all had a relaxing and fun summer! I am so excited to be apart of your child's education and I look forward to working with you to support their learning this year! Your child is going to grow in SO many ways this year!
The first days (and few weeks) of school we will focus on getting to know one another and establishing our classroom expectations and routines along with reviewing our CHES character counts traits. If you are not familiar with our CHES traits they are:
- Respect
- Responsibility
- Citizenship
- Trustworthiness
- Fairness
- Caring
These traits will be common language throughout the year as students learn what it means to be an outstanding 3rd grade CHES Charger! We will also be talking about Growth Mindset throughout the year. We will learn that we can develop skills in anything (school based or outside of school) if we are just willing to practice those skills everyday and change our mindset.
