I cannot believe how quickly the first 2 days of school flew by! Students had fun getting to know one another and getting to know Mrs. Wiley! This week we will continue to work on learning collaboratively and mastering our classroom procedures and routines. Students will also be taking some beginning of the year assessments in reading, math, and writing. Growth Mindset will be introduced to students and we will continue to build a positive class culture with some fun activities. Students will begin PE and STEAM classes this week, so please make sure your child wears appropriate shoes and brings a water bottle on our PE days (Mondays & Wednesdays).
Homework this week will consist of:
- Spiral review in Math and Language skills from 2nd grade.
- Read for 20 minutes (or more). There will be no reading log- it's on the honor system! Homework is due Friday (August 16th)!!!
